Patricia Moss, the former CEO and president of Cascade Bancorp and Bank of the Cascades, has now made her retirement official, the company announced Wednesday.
Moss — who joined Bank of the Cascades in 1977, the year it was founded — helped build it into a regional financial institution and guided it through the financial crisis and recession.
In July 2011, she announced her retirement, effective July 2012, but she remained in a management advisory capacity to help her successor, Terry Zink, current president and CEO.
Bank of the Cascades announced Moss’ formal retirement Wednesday in a news release.
Moss will continue to serve on the board of directors, where she is vice chairwoman, and on several committees, the release stated.
To honor her work, the company renamed its administrative headquarters the Patricia L. Moss Building. It’s located at 1070 N.W. Bond St.
