Bend pro lands in sixth in mini-tour event — Bend’s Tiffany Schoning shot a 71-70-68—209 to finish in sixth place out of 35 golfers at a Cactus Tour event at Silverstone Golf Club in Las Vegas last weekend. Schoning finished just two behind a two-way playoff and earned $800. Two weeks ago Schoning, a 23-year-old Summit High School graduate, finished in second place in an event on the same developmental mini-tour.
