Fred and Judy (Jordan) Newton, of Bend, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by Tom Newton, Nancy Kelleher, Andy Jordan and Marcia Morgan in September in Bend.

The couple were married Sept. 7, 1963, in Canoga Park, Calif. They have two children, Tom and (Tracy), of Bend, Nancy (and Newton) Kelleher, of Bend; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Newton worked for Cascade Natural Gas for 30 years until his retirement in 1999. He is a member of the Oregon Hunter’s Association and a volunteer for Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. He enjoys hunting, camping and ranching. Mrs. Newton was a homemaker. She is a devoted grandmother and enjoys camping, gardening and ranching.

They have lived in Central Oregon for 45 years.
