Local Raiders’ fan club forming — Bend Oregon Raider Nation (B.O.R.N.), a fan club of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders, will hold its inaugural event Sunday, Sept. 8, at 9 a.m. at the Volcanic Theatre Pub in Bend. The Raiders open the 2013 regular season that day against the Indianapolis Colts. B.O.R.N. will meet at the Volcanic Theatre in the Century Center for all Raider games. COCC looking for players — The Central Oregon Community College men’s rugby team has scheduled its first practice of the fall season for Tuesday, Sept. 10. MBSEF sports swap is moving — The annual Skyliners Winter Sports Swap, a fundraiser for the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation, will be staged at a new location this year. The swap will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, at 20545 Murray Road at the former Monaco Beaver Coach manufacturing plant off Boyd Acres Road in northeast Bend. The swap meet will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Those with items to sell should bring them to the swap site on Thursday, Oct. 10, between 9 a.m. and noon.
