Larry Snyder will be managing the Bend branch of Lewis and Clark Bank. Currently the Central Oregon area manager and senior vice president, Snyder also serves on the St. Charles Foundation board of directors and is an ambassador chairman of the Central Oregon Boys and Girls Clubs.

Karen Simpson-Hankins has joined Academy Mortgage as a loan officer.

Stacy Pickavancehas joined AmeriTitle as the director of marketing. Pickavance will be responsible for managing all corporate strategic marketing projects for the company.

Sara Laudenslayer has joined Ambient Architecture in Bend as a job captain. Laudenslayer, who was previously working as an intern at the firm, has experience in public, residential, master-planning, health care and commercial projects.

Adam Stephen has joined Steele Associates Architects as a design professional. Stephen has experience with sustainable, residential, multi-family, hospitality and commercial projects.

Jerry Gilmour has joined Bay Equity LLC as a senior reverse mortgage loan officer in the reverse mortgage division. Gilmour has been a reverse mortgage specialist since 1997.

Trish Burson has joined Bay Equity LLC as a senior reverse mortgage loan officer in the reverse mortgage division. Burson has been a reverse mortgage specialist since 1999.

Lauri Miller has joined The Garner Group Real Estate LLC, of Bend, as a licensed broker. Miller has previously worked as a certified public accountant, CFO of Eagle Crest Resort and interim financial director for the city of Redmond. She is currently a member of the St. Charles Health System board of directors.

Christina Wise has joined The Garner Group Real Estate LLC, of Bend, as a licensed broker. Wise previously held a real estate license in Washington and worked in sales and marketing.

Dr. Charles Abasa-Nyarko has been named vice president for instruction at Central Oregon Community College. Abasa-Nyarko has previously served as vice president for academic affairs at Bunker Hill Community College, vice president for academic services at Gloucester County College and earned his doctorate in international studies from the University of South Carolina.
