MountainStar Family Relief Nursery will host its ninth annual Children’s Expedition Fundraising Luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at The Riverhouse Convention Center, 3075 N. U.S. Highway 97.

The invitation-only event is open to donors, guests, volunteers and the media. The free, event will feature MountainStar’s executive director, Tim Rusk, and other speakers. MountainStar provides crisis intervention and a therapeutic classroom for more than 300 children ages 6 weeks to 5 years in Deschutes and Jefferson counties.
