Groups and individuals wanting to take part in this year’s Veterans Day Parade of Bend must attend a planning meeting in order to register for the event. The final meeting is set for 6 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1643, 1503 N.E. Fourth St., Bend. The organization is also seeking tax-deductible donations to help produce the parade, which will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, in downtown Bend.
