Three teenage boys have been arrested in connection with seven vehicle break-ins reported Wednesday, Bend Police Department announced in a Saturday news release.

The boys, ages 15, 16 and 17, were identified while police were looking into a report of a runaway juvenile on Thursday. All seven break-ins were in northeast Bend, within roughly one-quarter mile of Sky View Middle School.

Police have recovered some of the stolen property and notified victims of the break-ins. The three suspects face charges of unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, second- and third-degree theft and criminal mischief.
