Halloween party at Pakit Liquidators

Remember a month ago when the Bend Roots Revival happened at a newly cleaned up Pakit Liquidators and it was pretty cool and a good time and you said, “This space is so great. They should do more stuff here”?

Good news! On Saturday night, local humanitarian/arts organization Rise Up will throw a Halloween party at Pakit featuring live-band hip-hop by Mosley Wotta and The HardChords, plus DJs Rada, Ells and Ill-Efekt. Also planned: food, drinks, a costume contest and a haunted barn. Can you imagine a haunted barn at Pakit? Yeah … sounds truly spooky.

And it’s all open to all ages. Bring the kids!

There are more events coming to Pakit, too. On Nov. 15, the longtime home supply resale yard will host Seattle indie-rap duo Grayskul as part of a night of fashion and music. On Dec. 5, Reno, Nev.-based Americana band Moondog Matinee will play there (along with locals Wilderness). And on Jan. 1, Larry and His Flask will host an all-ages show at Pakit the day after their fourth annual New Year’s Eve throwdown at The Old Stone.

Rise Up Halloween Party, with Mosley Wotta and more; 9 p.m. Saturday; $5; Pakit Liquidators, 903 S.E. Armour Road, Bend; 541-389-7047.
