Paul Martin Latham

Oct. 1, 1965 – Oct. 17, 2013

After a long battle with multiple sclerosis and cancer, Paul passed away on the early morning of October 17, 2013.

Paul was born in Long Beach, California to Bob and Mary Latham. He attended St. Anthony H.S., and after moving to Oregon, graduated from Cottage Grove H.S. It was here that he was awarded his Eagle Scout with all three palms. He enjoyed backpacking, camping, and being outdoors. He continued his education earning online college degrees. Paul worked in managerial capacities in the housing industry.

Paul is survived by his parents, Bob and Mary Latham of Bend, his 99-year-old grandmother, Marion Field of Bend, two younger siblings, Amy Steigman and Eric, also of Bend, and two nephews, Blake Steigman and Mason Steigman. He will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Historic Church of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 10:00 am. Inurnment will follow at Deschutes Memorial Gardens.
