Mary Jane Van Hemelryck

July 8, 1929 – November 15, 2013

After a sudden illness, Jane was called home to Heaven. At her side was her husband of 53 years, Albert of Klamath Falls, their sons, Thomas and wife, Jean Ann of Bend, Jon of Klamath Falls, and Michael and wife, Kimberly of Eagle, ID, and her grandchildren, Jacob, Matthew and Bradly.

Janes passing was preceded by her parents, Katie and Joseph Lar, sisters, Helen, Kay, and Anne, and brother, Andy. She is survived by her brother, Joe Lar of Billings, MT.

Jane was born in Roundup, MT, where she worked in insurance and for the Veterans Administration before moving to Los Angeles. There she worked in banking and as a model, and met Albert, who is from Hysham, MT. They eventually settled in Miles City, MT, to raise their family.

Jane was blessed with a kind, unselfish soul, and devoted her life to her family. She made life-long friends wherever she went, and enjoyed traveling, substitute teaching, and reading her Bible. She will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, those who wish, may make contributions to the Spina Bifida Association at spinabifidaassociation.org.
