Ronald and Bonnie (Benson) Ruby, of Bend, will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary.

The couple were married Dec. 11, 1983, in Los Angeles. They have five children, Marshall (and Michelle), of Portland, David (and Alwand), of Marrakesh, Morocco, Brian King, of Los Angeles, Joshua (and Caroline) King, of Rio De Janeiro, Vanessa (and Kenny) Stimmel, of Los Angeles; and five grandchildren.

Mr. Ruby works as a CPA and is the treasurer of the Bend Heroes Foundation. He is also a jazz pianist and a volunteer CPA with Tax Aide and other various charitable and nonprofits in Bend. Mrs. Ruby works as a Registered Nurse and is a board member for Public Health Reserve Corps and United Way. She also volunteers for the Bend Faith Network and Bend Heroes Foundation.

They have lived in Central Oregon for 17 years.
