Louise Carlone of Blaine, Washington, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2013. She was 75.
Louise was born in Myrtle Point, Oregon, to Floyd and Roberta (Holmes) Watson. Louise graduated from Redmond High School in Redmond, Oregon, in 1956. She loved learning about new things and continued her education throughout her life attending various college and community courses with a particular focus on spiritualism, metaphysics and religion.
She was married to Dwain Miller after high school and started raising her family. She later married Jim (James) Johnson and these two marriages produced five beautiful children.
While raising her family, Louise worked with the federal government for more than 30 years with assignments for the U.S. Forest Service, BPA, NOAA, and in a civilian capacity with the USAF. Her government work took her from Bend, Oregon, to Bellevue, Washington on to Columbus, Ohio, and Adak, Alaska.
Louise loved music, reading, good friends, lively conversation, dancing, laughing, her dog, Scottie and especially being with all of her children and grandchildren. Louise…beloved mom, grandma and great- grandma will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by her children, their spouses, grandchildren and great- grand son. They are Rick Miller of Bend, OR, Bruce Miller of Ferndale, WA, Brian Miller of Olympia, WA; and his children, Andrew, Michael and Jenifer- John and Suzanne (Miller) Dougan of Blaine, WA; and their children, Danny, Derek and Daulton-Todd and Diane (Johnson) Berge of Blaine, WA; and their children, Kristi and Kelsey and Kelsey’s son, (great- grandson) Aiden.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Roberta Watson.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring in Washington.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to the American Heart and Stroke Foundation or the local Humane Society.
