Harper

• Dr. Scott Shaw , owner of the Westside Pet Hospital in Bend, has been elected as president of the Central Oregon Veterinarian Medical Association. Shaw was previously a board member for five years.

• Jason Moyer has joined Economic Development for Central Oregon as a local venture development professional. Moyer, who is currently a principal at Cascadian Group LLC, will manage the investment portion of the 2014 Bend Venture Conference.

• Gregg Harper has joined The Oxford Hotel as general manager. Prior to serving as the general manager at Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Wash., Harper spent six years as the director of operations at the Sunriver Resort.
