Chelsea Newby and Jordan Crump

Chelsea Newby and Jordan Crump, both of Seattle, were married Dec. 4 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. A reception is set for March 1, 2014, in Seattle.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Norwyn and Barbara Newby, of Bend. She is a 1996 graduate of Mountain View High School, a 2000 graduate of Colorado College, where she studied biology, and a 2005 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University. She works as a veterinarian.

The groom is the son of Eric and Karen Crump, of Edmonds, Wash. He is a graduate of Meadowdale High School in Lynnwood, Wash., and attended Whatcom Community College in Bellingham, Wash. He works as an operations manager for McCloud Construction.

The couple honeymooned in Thailand.

They will settle in Seattle.
