Summit hit 24 of 28 free-throw attempts, including 10 of 12 in the fourth quarter, to beat Ridgeview 73-68 in an Intermountain Hybrid boys basketball game Tuesday.
A combination of good defense, solid rebounding and easy buckets helped the Storm (7-4) jump out to a 19-4 first-quarter lead, said Summit coach Jon Frazier. But the Ravens (5-6) kept chipping away at the lead.
Nick Moyer grabbed nine rebounds and hit 15 of 18 of his free throws to score 21 points. He hit seven of eight from the charity stripe down the stretch which helped salt away the win, Frazier said.
“We were fortunate that we were able to hit our free throws down the stretch to maintain that lead,” Frazier said.

George Mendazona led Ridgeview with 15 points. Jack Bowman contributed 13 points, Garrett Albrecht scored 12 and Tanner O’Neal added 11 for the Ravens.
