Raymond J. Buseman Sr. was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on April 30, 1924, to Raymond N. and Esther (Matlock) Buseman. He died January 14, 2014, in Bend, Oregon.
Raymond graduated from Glassboro High School, New Jersey, in 1943, and from Arizona State University in 1959. He retired from the US Air Force in 1971, after 28 years of service. He was a decorated pilot receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross with two Oak Leaf Clusters, the Air Metal with ten Oak Leaf Clusters, the German Lufwafe Command Pilot Wings and the Korean Air Force Command Pilot Wings.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Betty of 47 years; two children; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
No services are being planned at this time.
