PUBLIC LEAGUES
Central Oregon Senior Men: The Central Oregon Senior Golf Organization meets on a Monday each month at golf courses across the region. Series is open to men’s club members of host sites. Central Oregon Golf Tour: A competitive series held at golf courses throughout Central Oregon. Gross and net competitions open to amateur golfers of all abilities. Executive Women’s Golf Association: The Central Oregon Chapter of the Executive Women’s Golf Association meets multiple times each week — including weeknight leagues and Saturday play — during the golf season. Cost is $30 for professionals, $50 for amateurs. Cost includes gross and net skins competitions. Cart costs extra. All players must sign up by noon on the Wednesday before the event. March 1: Rotary Club of Jefferson County’s Cherry Tree Open is a four-person scramble tournament held at Kah-Nee-Ta High Desert Resort near Warm Springs. Shotgun start at 10 a.m. Cost is $60 per person and includes net and gross prizes and hole-in-one contest. Auction and dinner begins at 6 p.m. Tournament open to first 120 golfers, and registration deadline is Feb. 21. Individual handicaps limited to 26. March 29: Second Annual Spring Invitational Bestball at Bend Golf and Country Club. Team best ball is open to the public and begins at 10 a.m. shotgun. Two-person teams can include one professional and teammates can not have more than a 10-stroke spread between handicap indexes. Both men and women are welcome. Cost is $120 per team, and includes golf cart for the first 34 team to RSVP, prizes and hosted beer. Deadline to enter is March 15 and field is limited to 45 teams.
