Papé in talks to buy Floyd A. Boyd

Eugene-based Papé Machinery is negotiating to purchase the assets of Floyd A. Boyd, a John Deere equipment dealer with locations in Bend and Madras, according to a news release issued Tuesday by Papé.

Papé Machinery has 37 locations in five states including a branch in Bend on Cady Way near Bend Parkway. Based in Merrill, Floyd A. Boyd has five outlets in Oregon and California, including the Bend location on Northeast First Street and the one in Madras on South U.S. Highway 97.

Closing for the purchase is scheduled April 25, according to Papé spokesman Pat Walsh.

Papé Machinery, part of the Papé Group, is an authorized dealer in several brands, including Hitachi, Gradall, Honda, Stihl and others.
