Frank E. Morton of Richland, WA died April 1, 2014 at the age of 73.
Frank was born September 18, 1940 in Salem, Oregon to Leland Edward Morton and Eunice (Smith) Morton.
He enjoyed hunting and tournament Bass Fishing and was a member of the Central Oregon Bass Club for many years.
He had lived in the Central Oregon area for most of his life and worked in construction and as a general contractor. He served on the Madras City Council and as Mayor of Madras. He was a member of the Foursquare Church.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Gloria Kerr Morton of Richland WA; sons, Todd Morton of Culver, Marc Morton of Redmond and Scott Morton of Hawaii; stepchildren, Mark Wiley of Depoe Bay and Kris Lentz of Nebraska; brother, Robert Morton of Madras, sister, Virginia West of Sisters and brother, Kody Morton of Sisters; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held this summer in Central Oregon.
