Violence: Yes, supernatural mayhem.

What it’s about: Anti-tech terrorists kill a computer scientist, but before he dies, his wife and best friend park his personality/essence and soul into computer memory.
The kid attractor factor: Captain Jack Sparrow tries his hand at playing “brilliant,” becoming the ghost in the machine.

Violence: Yes, bombings, shootings.
Language: A smidgen of profanity
Sex: Nothing worth reporting on.
Drugs: Alcohol is consumed.
Parents’ advisory: Pretty tame, for an ostensibly thought-provoking sci-fi thriller. OK for 10-and-up.
