Ronald N. McDonald, Died May 4, 2014, in Madras. Ron was born July 20, 1927. He grew up in Antelope and worked on the family ranch. In 1972, the family moved to Madras, Ron worked for the Jefferson County Road Department until he retired in 1992. He loved to hunt, fish and shoot trap.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Janie) McDonald and survived by his children, Neil McDonald and his wife, Cheryl of Redmond, Craig McDonald and his wife, Janice of Madras, Karen Hill of Ridgefield, WA, Norm McDonald and his wife, Bonnie of Redmond, Ronda McDonald of Woodburn, Shirley McDonald of Columbia, KY, and Jess McDonald and his wife, Leslie of Chico, CA. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Bel-Air Chapel followed by a reception at the Madras Senior Center.
