Student art on display at Barber library

Oregon State University-Cascades students are exhibiting their work through June 13 at Central Oregon Community College’s Rotunda Gallery in the Robert L. Barber Library, 2600 N.W. College way, Bend.

The pieces in the exhibit were created using the digital art program Art Rage, offering a full palette of colors and more than 15 tools, including paintbrushes, pencils and airbrush. Students constructed and composed in layers.

“Creating this work took both critical and creative thinking skills,” said Sandy Brooks, associate professor of art at OSU-Cascades. “Most of these students have some 20 to 30 hours in each project.”
