The American Red Cross Cascades Region has released a list of tips to be prepared in case of evacuation as a result of the Two Bulls Fire currently burning west of Bend.

The Red Cross suggests:

• Backing your car into the garage or driveway so you can leave quickly

• Putting an emergency preparedness kit in your car that contains items like prescription medication

• Keeping pets in one room so they are able to be found quickly when it’s time to leave

• Turning off propane gas service valves, but leave on natural gas unless officials indicate it should be turned off

• Having a route in mind traveling away from the fire

• Listening to local radio, television and check local news websites
