While evacuation orders have been lifted this morning in west Bend, the Deschutes National Forest is still enforcing closures on public land around the Two Bulls Fire.

The size of the closure is smaller today than it was Tuesday though. The Phil’s Trail system is open again for recreation. Shevlin Park remains closed, according to the Bend Park & Recreation District.

The closure continues, however for the Mrazek trail, which heads west from Shevlin Park; Tumalo Creek trail at the end of Skyliners Road; and Farewell trail at Tumalo Falls. These trails lead to or intersect the closure area. Skyliners Road west of the turnoff for Phil’s Trailhead also remains closed, according to the Deschutes National Forest.
