Monday
La Pine City Council — Councilors are expected to hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 16345 Sixth St., to discuss forming an urban renewal district. The district would divert more than $7 million in future property tax revenue into a series of projects aimed at getting rid of blight in the downtown area by improving roads and storefronts.
Deschutes County Commission — Commissioners are expected to hold a public hearing at 10 a.m. Monday at the county services building, 1300 N.W. Wall St., in Bend, to discuss the county Community Development Department’s priorities for the next fiscal year, which starts July 1. Those priorities include clarifying acceptable land uses and events in rural areas, and developing long-term plans to improve road and sewer infrastructure in southern Deschutes County.
Tuesday
Redmond City Council — Councilors are expected to hold a workshop at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 777 S.W. Deschutes Ave., to discuss issues with the city’s stormwater code, and to provide an update on a contract to implement energy savings in the city.
Wednesday
Bend City Council — Councilors are expected to hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 710 N.W. Wall St., to discuss changes to city fees starting July 1, as well as to discuss changes to its water treatment plant improvement project. The council also expects to discuss grant funding for possible affordable housing projects.
