Crook County sheriff’s deputies responded to the ranch at 8 p.m. and observed Virgil Redding, 48, rummaging through property and then leaving on a four-wheeler with a utility trailer containing miscellaneous metal items from the ranch, the release said.
The trailer was seized and impounded, and Redding was arrested on charges of theft, possession of a controlled substance-meth, and criminal trespass. He was transported to the Crook County jail and later released because the jail was full.
