VICTORIA, British Columbia — Grant Newton homered and had two RBIs, and the Bend Elks won their third straight with a 4-1 West Coast League victory over the Victoria HarbourCats on Wednesday night.

Billy King was 3 for 4 with an RBI for the Elks (9-10), and both Jake Peeveyhouse and Nick Lopez picked up two hits. Jake Thompson (1-1) struck out seven in six innings in the start for Bend.
