The Redmond School district has named Paul Nolan as Redmond High School’s next assistant principal.

Nolan previously taught in Pendleton, teaching various social studies courses at Sunridge Middle School and Pendleton High School. Nolan will fill the post left by Tony Pupo, who earlier this year was named planning principal of the new Hugh Hartman Elementary School, which is slated to open in the fall of 2015.

The new elementary school will be located in the Hugh Hartman facility, which was built in 1995 and has previously served as the Hugh Hartman Middle School and an annex for Redmond High. The building is currently used by the Redmond Proficiency Academy.
