Onboard part of OSU accelerator
Bend company Onboard Dynamics was among four startups to participate in the first Oregon State University Advantage Accelerator program, the university announced Thursday.
The program helps new companies bring their idea or products to market. It offers participants mentoring with industry and entrepreneurial experts, access to potential funding sources, networking and other activities, according to a news release from OSU.
Onboard Dynamics has developed technology that modifies a piston engine so it not only powers a vehicle but also compresses natural gas coming from a home or business supply line and sends it to the fuel tank to be stored for later use.
The Advantage Accelerator helped Onboard with market analysis and other startup activities, CEO Rita Hansen said in the news release.
