Sisters man injured in Bend crash

A 26-year-old Sisters man faces charges of driving under the influence, reckless driving and first-degree criminal mischief after his car went off Knott Road late Wednesday night and crashed through a fence, according to Bend Police.

Officers responded to the single-vehicle crash near Knott Road and Tall Pine Avenue about 11:30 p.m. There they found a Subaru Legacy sitting on its passenger side in the back yard of a home, according to a news release from Bend Police.

Witnesses saw the crash and pulled George Evan Knight from his car. He was taken to St. Charles Bend by ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to the news release.
