Robert and Bonita Brown, of Prineville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a celebration on Aug. 2.

The couple were married Aug. 1, 1964 in Westminster, California. They have eight children, Ronald (and Lisa), of Dundee, Russell (and Diana), of Moses Lake, Washington, Rodney, of Phoenix, Randall, of Prineville, Dena Trapp, of Afton, Oklahoma, Karen (and David) DiFabio, of Oakdale, California, Cheryl (and Russell) Moir, of Emett, Idaho and the late Robert Jr.; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Brown retired in 2010 and Mrs. Brown retired in 2007.

They have lived in Central Oregon for 20 years.
