Students will be split into groups depending on age and experience. The “Elementary Introduction” will introduce students to music and musical instruments. Participants will also make instruments out of common items.

The “Middle School Camp” will introduce the band instruments and how to make sounds on them. For experienced players, the camp will focus on improving all aspects of musical performance and how to get more out of a practice session.

The camps run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ridgeview High School, located at 4555 SW Elkhorn Ave. in Redmond. Cost is $45 and includes lunch, a snack and a camp T-shirt. There is no formal deadline for registration. However, organizers recommend early registration to ensure correct T-shirt size.
