Suspect arrested in Klamath shooting

A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that seriously wounded a Klamath County deputy sheriff, according to Oregon State Police.
This morning, the Klamath County Major Crime Team arrested William Jack Parkerson, 30, in Chiloquin on charges of attempted aggravated murder with a firearm and first-degree assault with a firearm. Karey Leigh Pascoe, 33, was also arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated murder with a firearm and first-degree assault with a firearm.
Deputy Justin Weber was shot in the face and side during a traffic stop. He is currently undergoing treatment at Oregon Health & Science University Hospital in Portland.
