Drivers heading south on the Bend Parkway south of Powers Road should anticipate congestion Thursday and Friday due to construction, the Oregon Department of Transportation announced today.

Contractors will be paving portions of the ongoing Murphy Road project, and will be restricting southbound traffic to one lane south of Powers between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.
