Approximately 1,600 Pacific Power customers in Culver will lose electrical power from 1 to 5 a.m. Friday as part of a substation equipment upgrade.

Areas that will be affected include Culver, the Three Rivers and Round Butte recreation sites, south to U.S. Highway 97 over the Crooked River and east to U.S. Highway 26. The upgrade is intended to make the system more reliable in Jefferson County.
