He graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1943, served in the U.S. Marines and then graduated from the University of Washington. He married Sally Ann Sampson in 1951.
Glen was an executive in the frozen food industry his entire career. He was president of Albany Frozen Foods in Albany, Oregon, as well as a frozen food broker and consultant. He was chairman of the American Frozen Food Institute for one term. While in Albany, Glen was active in community organizations and was chairman of the Albany School District Board of Directors.
In 1987, Glen and Sally retired to Black Butte Ranch, where Glen was finance chairman of the homeowners association and later chairman of the ARC.

Glen was a big, tall man who was firm but kind, generous and sweet with a dry wit. He kept us laughing as long as he could. It was a life well lived.
Donations in his memory can be made to the Oregon Humane Society (oregonhumane.org).
No services are planned.
