The fundraising event Wheels for Meals will take place at Bend’s Community Center, located at 1036 NE Fifth Ave. in Bend, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. today. The event will feature a raffle and silent auction, as well as a bike safety check with maintenance instructions, a bike rodeo and bike films featuring local riding in Bend. Proceeds will go toward Bend’s Community Center Feed the Hungry program, which prepares 2,000 meals or more for hungry and homeless in Central Oregon each week.
