Linda Ruth Overlander Caffro

May 13, 1943 – Sept. 12, 2014Linda was born in Redmond, Oregon, to Elman and Lorna Overlander, their only child. Linda went all through school here in Central Oregon and graduated from Redmond High School. On May 8, 1964, she married Donald F. Caffro in San Diego, California. They raised four children together, Corrina, Donna, Louis, and Kaylynn. Linda loved her family gatherings, and was well known for her famous ham gravy. Linda was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her death. She is survived by her daughters, Corrina Hankins, Donna Kendrick, Kaylynn Horton (David); and one son, Louis Caffro. Linda had nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one on the way. many nieces and nephews and friends. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Elman and Lorna; husband, Donald; and son-in-law, Kurk Kendrick. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014, at 10 a.m., at Redmond Memorial Chapel, 717 SW 6th St., Redmond. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
