Calling all veterans

The Veterans Day Parade of Bend is seeking veterans, community organizations, schools, bands, businesses and individuals for this year’s event at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 in downtown Bend.

Participants must register at a planning meeting Oct.6 or Oct. 27, the last chance for entrants to sign up.

Both meetings will begin at 6 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1643, 1503 NE Fourth St., Bend. Registration is free.For more information, contact Robin Rogers: 541-382-3221 or robin@bendchamber.org.
