• Desperado Boutique plans to celebrate its 18th year of business with a weekend of festivities and truck shows Oct. 10-12. The Western clothing and home decor retailer is located in the Old Mill District at 330 SW Powerhouse Drive in Bend.

• Hutch’s Bicycles was recently named one of “America’s Best Bike Shops” by the National Bicycle Dealers Association. The company has been in business since 1927 and has locations in Bend, Redmond and Klamath Falls.

• Sprouts Farmers Market, a national grocery store chain, now carries products made by No-Bake Cookie Company, which makes gluten-free cookies in Bend. They have plans to launch with the television shopping channel QVC in 2015.
