The Oregon Department of Human Services will host two meetings next week for local residents to share their ideas about the future of state services for seniors and people with disabilities.
Both meetings will be held Tuesday in Bend, and will begin with a short presentation followed by a group discussion.
The first meeting will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Bend’s Community Center, at 1036 NE Fifth St. A second meeting will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Downtown Bend Public Library, at 601 NW Wall St.
Organizers will provide interpreters for non-English speakers, and make accommodations for persons with disabilities that make it difficult to communicate verbally. Contact Rebecca Arce at Rebecca.e.arce@state.or.us or 503-947-5019 at least 48 hours before the meeting to request any accommodations or translation services.
