Donald and Joan (Bertucci) Sheets, of Redmond, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip and family gathering.

The couple were married Sept. 19, 1964, at First Methodist Church in Coos Bay. They have two children, Gina (and Ian) Harnish and Joseph, both of Portland; and one granddaughter.

Mr. Sheets worked as a commercial building contractor at Sheets Construction. Mrs. Sheets worked as an artist and art educator.

They have lived in Central Oregon for 10 years.
