REDMOND — Tanners Stevens rushed for two touchdowns and caught a third as Ridgeview blew out visiting The Dalles 47-8 in a nonconference football game Friday night.

Four different Ravens rushed for touchdowns in a game Ridgeview (3-2) led 33-0 at halftime. Jacob Johnson passed for two touchdowns and ran for a score in the win.

“We were able to control the edges and get to the sidelines,” said Ravens coach Andy Codding. “We took what they gave us.”

Inside linebacker Brent Yeakey led a Ridgeview defense that forced four turnovers, Codding said. Cornerback Brent Blundell had one interception.

“We need to be balanced,” Codding said. “They had adjusted to some of the things we had been doing through the air. … And it’s always nice to get a lot of looks on film.”

Ridgeview opens Intermountain Conference play next week at home against Bend High.
