Three Bend firms made the list of Outside magazine’s 100 best places to work this year.

Deschutes Brewery ranked 88th and earned points for its comprehensive health care plans, stock ownership and other perks. Hydro Flask came in at 75th, with accolades for its relaxed company culture and profit-sharing plan.

And G5, the software company, ranked 56th. The magazine editors cited G5’s competitive culture and early Fridays, among other workplace advantages. All three Bend employers apparently provide free beer in some fashion, the magazine noted.

The No. 1 best place to work, according to the Santa Fe-based magazine, is Seeley Lake Elementary School in Seeley Lake, Montana.
