Jan Hooks, 57: Comedic actress whose gift for impersonation led to memorable scenes spoofing Tammy Faye Bakker, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Nancy Reagan, Kitty Dukakis and others on “Saturday Night Live.” Died Thursday.
Harley Clark, 78: Former Texas cheerleader credited with introducing the “Hook’em Horns” hand signal used by tens of thousands of Longhorns faithful over the past six decades. Died Thursday at his farm outside of Austin, Texas.
Peter A. Peyser, 93: Politician who rose from mayor of a Westchester County village to Congress, then defied the leadership of his Republican Party by quixotically challenging Sen. James Buckley in a 1976 primary. Died Thursday at his home in Irvington, New York.
