Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes in and out of Prineville due to a truck crash on the grade west of town.

One lane is being used to route traffic around the overturned semi truck on state Highway 126, the Oregon Department of Transportation reported shortly before 4 p.m. Extended delays are anticipated.

According to an alert sent by Oregon State Police at 2:15 p.m., the truck has spilled diesel fuel and dumped its load on the road.
