McMenamins Old St. Francis School (700 NW Bond St., Bend) is a fine place to see a show all year long. Most Wednesdays and Thursdays, you’ll find a band there, standing on the low stage in Father Luke’s Room and playing for a group of loose-limbed live-music lovers.

This week, the venue will ramp up its offerings for the holidays by hosting a show every night between now and New Year’s. Here’s a quick look at what’s planned:

Most Popular

• Tonight, it’s time for Tone Red, a local female-fronted band that laces its Americana music with a healthy dose of soul.

• Saturday night brings in the gentle, warm-glow indie rock of Travis Ehrenstrom. More on him here .

• On Sunday, look out for the rollicking good-times jams of local crew The Rum and the Sea, one of the busiest gigging bands in town.

• Monday’s usually a slow night out and about, but next week, McMenamins will offer a space to hear local chamber-folk duo Coyote Willow (formerly Hilst & Coffey) weave their guitar and cello into one sound.

• On Tuesday, Father Luke’s Room is quiet, but the movie theater next door will be pulsing with the vibrant thunder of Tubaluba, a New Orleans-style brass band from Seattle. This one’s going to be a serious party, friends.

• Wednesday is New Year’s Eve, and $5 will get you into the movie theater to see reggae-grass group World’s Finest and popular one-man rock band Tony Smiley. This one starts at 9 p.m.

• Thursday, it’s time for Popcorn, the new string band that plays pop covers and originals and features members of the Moon Mountain Ramblers.

Each of the shows above except for New Year’s Eve start at 7 p.m. and are free to attend. Thanks, McMenamins! Check out www.mcmenamins.com for more info.
