The Redmond School District is accepting applications for three openings on its school board. Applications are due March 19.

The board has five members, elected to serve overlapping four-year terms as non-salaried trustees of the school district. Members are responsible for quality of education and district policy-making. Any registered voter who has been a resident within the school district for one year immediately preceding the May election and who is not an employee of the district is eligible to serve as a board member.

Applications are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Deschutes County Clerk’s Office, 1300 NW Wall St., Suite 202, in Bend. The filing period closes March 19 at 5 p.m. Elections for the positions will be May 19. Questions about the board should be directed to Trish Huspek at 541-923-8247.
