Bend, Redmond home prices drop last month

Median home prices in Bend and Redmond dropped last month, compared to January, but increased over February 2014, according to a report released today.
In Bend, the median price for a single-family home last month was $297,000, a nearly 8 percent decrease from January’s median but a 10 percent increase over the median price in February 2014, according to a report from the Beacon Appraisal Group, of Redmond.
Bend recorded 120 single-family home sales last month, the same number as in January but 12 fewer than in February 2014.
In Redmond, the median price for a single-family home was $206,000, about 6 percent below January’s median price but about 10 percent higher than the median price in February 2014, according to The Beacon Report.
Fifty-three homes sold in Redmond last month, 18 more than in January and three more than in February 2014.
